1. Grandeur Nature — 59 Rivoli
1–13 September 2026
Cédric Selmi, Jeanne de Guillebon and Martin Lassailly come together for Grandeur Nature, exploring nature, landscape and our relationship with the environment through different artistic approaches. A young and experimental opening to the September contemporary-art season.
2. Robin Kid — Permanent Display — Galerie Templon
5 September–31 October 2026
Robin Kid returns to Paris with Permanent Display, an exhibition rooted in contemporary culture, consumerism, advertising and American imagery. His visually striking universe sits somewhere between fine art and the language of popular culture, making this one of the September openings to watch.
3. Ali Banisadr — Talisman — Thaddaeus Ropac

Iranian-American artist Ali Banisadr presents Talisman, bringing his dense and almost hallucinatory paintings to the Marais. His works move between abstraction and imagined worlds, filled with layers of movement, colour and intricate detail.
4. Clément Cogitore — Ferdinandea — Galerie Nathalie Obadia

5. Over the Top, Undercover — Fondation Pernod Ricard

Bringing together Jonathan Martin, R. Moreno and Clémence de La Tour du Pin, this group exhibition explores perception, identity, desire and the forces that shape the way we see the world. Through installation, sound, objects and visual distortion, the exhibition reveals what may normally remain hidden beneath appearances.
6. Leonora Carrington — Almine Rech

One of Surrealism's most distinctive figures arrives at Almine Rech this September. Through painting, drawing, sculpture and tapestry, Leonora Carrington's fantastical world of hybrid creatures, mythology and transformation continues to feel remarkably contemporary.
7. Hui Hui — Lightness Garden — Galeries Lafayette Haussmann
4 August–20 September 2026
Chinese artist and designer Hui Hui explores the relationship between nature, textile craftsmanship and contemporary design. Inspired by organic forms, the installation looks at how nature influences fashion through silhouettes, volumes, materials and patterns — an especially interesting meeting point between art and fashion.
8. Azzedine Alaïa and Africa — Fondation Azzedine Alaïa
Until 4 January 2027
Fashion enters the conversation at the Fondation Azzedine Alaïa with an exhibition exploring Alaïa's relationship with Africa. The exhibition creates a dialogue between the designer's work, cultural influences and artistic practices, offering another perspective on the connections between fashion and art.
9. WE ARE [still] HERE — Petit Palais
Until 20 September 2026
Nearly 200 works of contemporary urban art take over the Petit Palais, creating a dialogue between street art and the museum's historic architecture and collections. The exhibition brings together the contemporary French scene alongside international artists, tracing the continuing evolution of urban art in Paris.

10. Hilma af Klint & Leandro Erlich — Grand Palais

Two exhibitions are entering their final days at the Grand Palais. Hilma af Klint: Les Peintures du Temple offers a final opportunity to discover the artist's visionary abstract universe, while contemporary artist Leandro Erlich continues through the first week of September with his playful approach to space, architecture and perception.
